Molybdenum rods are rod-shaped materials prepared from metallic molybdenum (Mo) by a powder metallurgy process (isostatic pressing) or a smelting process.
According to the purity, density and grain structure, molybdenum rods can be divided:
1.Pure molybdenum rod:
molybdenum content is usually above 99.95%.
2.High temperature molybdenum rod (lanthanum doped molybdenum rod):
a small amount of lanthanum oxide is added to significantly improve the recrystallization temperature and high temperature creep resistance, and prevent embrittlement at high temperature.
TZM molybdenum alloy rod: doped with titanium, zirconium and other elements, with higher recrystallization temperature, strength and hardness.
With its high melting point and high temperature strength, excellent thermal properties, good corrosion resistance, high elastic modulus and good processing performance, molybdenum rods are widely used in high-temperature, high-demand high-temperature furnaces, glass and ceramic industries, electronics and electrical vacuum, metal treatment and processing, spraying materials and aerospace industries. It is the 1 high-temperature structural material with excellent performance, and is the "bone" and "heating core" of high-temperature vacuum or protective atmosphere equipment ".
