Product Description
        TZM alloys are the 1 molybdenum-based superalloys, typically containing about 0.5 percent titanium, 0.08 percent zirconium, and a small amount of carbon (-0.01-0.04 percent), with the balance being molybdenum. During high temperature sintering or heat treatment, the alloying elements titanium and zirconium react with carbon in the molybdenum matrix to form highly stable, dispersive carbide particles (mainly TiC and ZrC). These fine particles can effectively pin the grain boundary and hinder the dislocation movement, thus significantly improving the recrystallization temperature, high temperature strength and creep resistance of the alloy.
        TZM alloy is based on the excellent high temperature performance of pure molybdenum, through microalloying technology "upgrade and strengthen" version, is the 1 kind of high-performance structural materials in oxygen-free high temperature environment, it is almost irreplaceable in high temperature strength, creep resistance and thermal conductivity, is currently the most widely used, one of the most excellent comprehensive performance of molybdenum-based alloys.
